The pictures featured on this page were all taken at the annual "Day in the Park" outreach event at DeBardeleon Park in Bessemer, AL on July 29, 2000. This event was put together by Rev. James Williams and his church family, The Holiness Deliverance Tabernacle in Adger, AL. Rev. Williams is a very good friend of ours and we enjoy participating in outreach events with his church whenever possible. Several other area churches also participated in this event.




We were grateful to be a part of this event and for the opportunity to minister both in word and through music.

Our good friend, Rev. James Williams, always stirs the hearts of those that hear. Here, Rev. Williams shares a song with those in attendance at the event.






We are always blessed when we hear the music of "Praise" from Adger, AL





The "New Life Christian Church" Choir blessed our hearts while rejoicing in the Lord.







Blow the trumphet in Zion...and in Bessemer, AL!!! This Brother praised God from the best seat in the house throughout the day.



The reason why we participate in outreach events such as this one is in order to allow the Lord to touch the lives of others through us. A highlight of the day was when after Laura finished singing "Sounds Just Like a Man" these young girls asked her to sing it again. Seeing how they were touched by the song, and what an impact that song could make on their futures, she gave them all their very own copy of our tape. Thank you Jesus for helping us to reach the people where they are.



 


Thanks to all the participants for a very successful "Day in the Park" and for allowing Laura DeAnn and I to be with you for the day. God bless you all in all the different ministries that we represent.
